Local currency as reports from some countries

Return to Main Menu

Here we announced the launch of the Euro as a currency reporting for publishers in five countries in Europe, we are happy to announce that the local currency may appear as reports in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Greece, Portugal, South Africa, Switzerland, and UK .

If you are in one of these countries, you can now update your account to show earnings in local currency. After updating your account, any revenue generated from advertisers will pay in currencies other than the local currency will be changed daily. If you accept payment in local currency, this means that there also will not have additional conversion at the end of the month. However, you can still choose to accept payment in U.S. Dollars or change your payment method at any time.

Before the local currency allows the reports in your account, we recommend to download and save copies of your previous reports in the U.S. Dollar for your note. You can update your account and log in to AdSense and click on the link in the green at the prompt Reports Overview page. You will be asked to review and approve a new set of Terms and Conditions. Unfortunately, we can not interpret the meaning of changes in the legal documents to a publisher - if you have questions or need legal advice on interpreting the new requirements, please do not hesitate to contact the lawyer.

We will need this change in the future, we recommend that you update your account to report income in local currency soon. You can find answers to common FAQs associated with this new report in the local currency in the new post AdSense blog - all references to the 'Euro' on the post now also apply to the local currency. In addition, detailed information on this new report can be found in our Help Center.
