Printer Braille

University of Indonesia (UI) has a braille printer that can be used by students of the writings tunanetra print results on a computer.

With the printer print out the braille letter, UI hope that prospective students have physical limitations, especially tunanetra minder does not need to fear or to study at UI, said the Head of Research Center Disabilitas Faculty of Social and Political (FISIP) UI, Irwanto, on UI Campus Depok, West Java, Friday.

Printer with a value of almost Rp90 million investment this work to produce a print Braille letters that can be read by the tunanetra.

Deputy Head of Public Relations Devie UI Rahmawati said, now there are approximately 12 students pwd (Person With Disabilities or the disabled) who studied in the UI. Three of them are students who are tunanetra through study English Literature, Science of Social Welfare, Science and Law.
