BUSINESS INFORMATION - East Asia and surrounding areas in the future can be shared economic region to contribute in the face of the global economic crisis.

Adviser to Minister of State for National Development Planning Agency Djunaedi Hadisumarto the symposium on the potential of East Asia, in Jakarta on Monday, saying there is a possibility the countries of east Asia region for economic integration in the field.


For the projection to the front of this may be the best place (East Asia) for the common economic area, including New Zealand, Australia, China, Korea, India, ASEAN and Japan.

He added that Indonesia has a good chance to participate and integrate with these countries because it has the potential to be more developed in the future.

According Djunaedi, Indonesia must fix climate conditions that have not invited the investors to enter the licensing system of which still use a decentralized system.

Another obstacle, he says, is the legal certainty in investing in Indonesia are still weak.

According to data from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in 2010, projected growth in the Asian region increased to 6.4 percent from 6 percent.

Economic growth is stronger in East Asia and South Asia became the main key to improving prospects for Asian economies.

And the Asian Development Outloook (ADO) 2009, ADB raises economic growth projection in East Asia to 4.4 percent from 3.6 percent.

ADB Chief Economist Jong-Wha Lee said that to build the resilience of the economy, Asia's developing to expand the scope and structure of its openness.
