In the General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) PT HM Sampoerna agreed share dividend of Rp600 per share to shareholders that was taken from the corporate net income the year 2008.

Director of PT HM Communications Samporna, Niken Rachmadi in Jakarta on Wednesday, said Rp600 per share dividend will be distributed in two stages. The first stages of Rp340 per share will be distributed on July 6 and the rest around Rp260 akan specified time, he said.

According to him, the remaining net profit will be used by the company for working capital. In addition, the company must pay a debt that is due to pay the debts of Rp1 trillion in bonds that mature in October to come, he said.

Rp1 trillion of bonds, will be paid through loans obtained from local banks and some of the internal funds.

To improve services to the community, company has built factories processing of tobacco and cloves and equipment capable of processing 15 tons of tobacco per day in the midst of global market uncertainty.

This is a consistency in the investment company to increase business development in Indonesia and in the future.

Investment processing factory is equal to 250 million U.S. dollars is expected to complement the company has a factory in Surabaya and Pandaan. Factory has been producing products SKM brand A Mild, he said.
