Miranda Goeltom Hold Position While Governor of BI



Senior Deputy Governor (DGS) of Bank Indonesia Miranda S Goeltom to temporarily take over the duties of Governor of Bank Indonesia which is currently empty after Boediono resign since May 16.



Based on article 50 of Law BI mentioned when the resignation is approved then the Governor of BI akan president appoints successor and that successor has not been over there it will be replaced by DGS.

Meanwhile, Minister of State Secretary Hatta Radjasa said at the State Palace at this time Boediono resignation letter is in the process made the decision for the president.

Boediono have to submit a letter of resignation of office of Governor BI directly to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Friday 15 May 2009. Boediono resignation because he made progress as a potential vice president accompany President Yudhoyono on Elections and the Vice President in 2009.
