Mexican Finance Minister Agustin Carstens, said the World Bank has agreed to channel more funds before the U.S. $ 25 million.
"Funding for medicines and medical devices to detect and diagnosis," Carstens said as quoted from the AFP, Minggu (26/4/2009).
In a press conference with World Bank president Robert Zoellick, Carstens said that the funds are part of the U.S. $ 205 million that will be used to build the capacity of Mexico to fight the new disease.
