BUSINESS INFORMATION - Bank Indonesia (BI) has revoked the business licenses of PT Bank Export Indonesia (BEI) for having turned into Indonesian Exports Financing Agency (LPEI).

BEI revocation was based on the Decree of Governor of Bank Indonesia Number 11/43/KEP.GBI/2009 on 1 September 2009, thus BI press statement here on Wednesday.

Revocation is based on Law No. 2 Year 2009 on LPEI and attention to the letter the Minister of Finance Decree No. 336/KMK.06/2009 dated August 24, 2009 on the Determination Date and the Operational LPEI IDX letter No. RS.0009/DIR/08/2009 dated August 26, 2009 regarding Petition Revocation City Business Exchange.

With the removal of these, all assets and liabilities and the rights and legal obligations of BEI switch to LPEI as stipulated in Law No. 2 Year 2009 on Indonesian Exports Financing Agency.

LPEI was inaugurated by the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati said on September 1, 2009 and dissolved the BEI in accordance with Article 44 of Law on LPEI, closing financial statements BEI is currently in the process of audit by the Office of Public Accountant (KAP).
