BUSINESS INFORMATION - State-G-20 countries including Indonesia set a policy void exit strategy with the global crisis due to economic conditions in different member states.

Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said here on Monday.

G-20 considered that the condition of the world economy is still very fragile and uncertain, so if forced the exit strategy will bring with it economic recovery that resembles the letter-W.

countries that have a budget deficit above the 8 percent as the UK, U.S., Europe, and Japan, could not think of an exit strategy in the short term. They should think about an exit strategy medium term.

Policy out of the crisis, said Finance Minister, is one of the four topics discussed in the meeting Minister of Finance and central bank governors G-20 in London at the beginning of this September.

Another topic is the need to increase oversight and regulation of financial institutions and non-banking banks.
