Company space giant Rolls-Royce will build a factory to make machine leaves / knife fan (fan blades) for large aircraft in Singapore, because the demand in this area increases, the company said as quoted AFP on Wednesday.
The giant British company, said the factory facilities will become the first outside the UK to manufacture leaf / hollow titanium knife used in the Trent engine family of aircraft.
Steps that will bring total investment in the city-state company, Seletar Aerospace Park, more than 700 million Singapore dollars (486 million U.S. dollars), said Rolls-Royce.
Rolls-Royce is also building a regional training center and test and assembly facilities Trent engine. Development facility will begin in the first quarter next year.
