Minister of Industry Fahmi Idris and several officials Gaikindo (Motor Vehicle Industry Association India) provides awards to five automobile producers in the event the establishment of the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2009 at the Jakarta International Expo (Jie) Kemayoran, Fri.

In response President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono who is Plt Economic Coordinating Minister Sri Mulyani he say goodbye to the recipient of the award and hope the interaction in the automotive industry both in and outside the country can increase investment.

PT Astra Daihatsu Motor awarded Biggest Investment for 2007-2008 with total investment of two trillion rupiahs.

PT Indomobil Niaga International awarded for number of Export Destination Countries 2007-2008 Most distribute its products after the Suzuki APV, MPV type vehicles (Multi Purpose Vehicle), to 88 countries from West Asia to South America.

The three other award recipients are PT Toyota Astra Motor for Biggest Market Share Sales 2007-2008, PT Honda Prospect Motor for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Open 2007-2008 PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors for Biggest Market Share KBM type Biggest Trucks 2007 -- 2008.

In addition, the Minister of Finance as well Plt Coordinating Minister for Economy Sri Mulyani Indrawati also give the Blue Sky City 2008 to Open Walikotamadya West Jakarta, North Jakarta, Tangerang, Bandung and Yogyakarta.

Awards are given on the success of cities in the lower air pollution from the transportation sector through the promotion and implementation of sustainable transport policies in urban areas.

IIMS 2009 event is the annual exhibition of automotive products industry to the 17-Gaikindo and lasted from 24 July to 2 August with a display of 21 cars, 7 of 124 motorcycle and automotive industry supporters.
