Sales of personal computers (PC) in Asia the trend decline in the two consecutive quarterly record and a strong increase in second quarter 2009, so that a report released Tuesday.

Information technology analyst IDC says 19.9 million PC units sold in the Asia-Pacific, excluding Japan, from April to June this year. This is an increase of 19 percent from the first quarter.

The increase in year-by-year estimates and above the eight per cent. This was the first time the numbers positive negative after six months, IDC added.

Bryan Ma of IDC Asia-Pacific, said portable PC growth will be a major force in months.

Lenovo still the leading PC brands to the region, meraup the market share of 18.5 percent in the first quarter, followed by Hewlett-Packard with 16.2 percent, 8.4 percent of Dell and Acer 7.5 percent.
